Notes: Nestled in a natural amphitheatre, surrounded by towering jarrah and marri forest, Alexandra Bridge Winery is located at the southernmost tip of the Margaret River wine growing region. A cooler climate than the north of the region, fruit from this area provides a range of flavour profiles that combine the very best of the characters found in the north with the cooler spicy and elegantly restrained fruit flavours of the south.

Alexandra Bridge wines are made from fruit grown at the 30 hectare Brockman Vineyard located 3km from the winery. Fruit is also purchased under long term supply agreements with other Margaret River growers.

Tasting Notes:

2002 Sauvignon Blanc : A definitive example of southern Margaret River sauvignon blanc this wine displays creamy vanilla and banana passionfruit aromas. Rich and ripe tropical fruit flavours will sit comfortably beside casual café cuisine.

2002 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc : A fine accompaniment for your Asian dishes this crisp and tangy Margaret River blend displays hints of smoky bamboo and spice. A style that sits beautifully with contemporary fusion food.

2002 Unwooded Chardonnay : Chardonnay in its natural fruit-driven glory! Mouthfilling tropical melon and peach flavours with hints of buttery lemon provide the base for this deliciously simple style. Always versatile - enjoy it with Mediterranean fare.

2001 Cabernet Merlot : Margaret River cabernet merlot - elegant and cool. Blackcurrant, chocolate and toasty aromas support a rich and intensely smooth palate. A blend of your favourite varieties to partner your favourite meat dishes.

2001 Shiraz : Shiraz from southern Margaret River is known for its subtle white pepper and vanillan aromas. This wine is a classic example. Toasty oak sits perfectly with smoky redcurrant flavours to provide a wonderful gourmet pizza partner.
