Notes: Our wine is from a single vineyard in an elevated sub-region of McLaren Vale known for the particular quality of its grapes. Dry grown vines are slow to establish but yield concentrated fruit that we ferment in low open vats, basket press, and age in predominately older French oak barriques for 18 months. The grapes are grown and the wine made, aged, and bottled on the family estate by brothers Anthony and Gary Whaite. It expresses the terroir of the this special region.
Directions: Take the main street out of Kangarilla for about 3 km and then turn right down Schulller Road and continue along Schuller road for about 3 km.
